- Over the last 33 years, Pod Childrens Charity has helped to bring a little magic fun and laughter into the lives of many thousands of sick children in hospitals and hospices.
- Pod Childrens Charity magicians, musicians, puppeteers, storytellers and clowns give monthly shows in childrens hospitals, hospices and childrens wards throughout the UK, helping to make children in hospital feel better.
- No one likes being in hospital, least of all children. Treatment is necessary, but sick children are frightened and parents feel worried. Often sick children suffer acute pain. Hospitals are increasingly try to make a child's stay in hospital as pleasant as possible. But childrens hospitals and childrens wards have limited funding for non-essential, nonmedical activities. Pod childrens charity ensures children in hospitals and hospices can feel better, and smile even if it is for a short while, the benefits are wonderful and sow a seed for the future.
