- Over the last 28 years, Pod has helped to bring a little magic fun and laughter into the lives of many thousands of sick children in hospital.
- Pod magicians, musicians, puppeteers, storytellers and clowns give monthly shows in hospitals throughout the UK, helping to make children in hospital feel better.

- No one likes being in hospital, least of all children. Treatment is necessary,
but children are frightened and parents feel worried. Often children suffer acute pain. Hospitals increasingly try to make a child's stay in hospital as pleasant as possible. But hospitals have limited funding for non-essential, non-medical activities.
POD started in 1977 by visiting Great Ormond Street Hospital...

- This year Pod entertainers will provide over 1800 shows in hospitals all over Britain in playrooms, on wards or at bedsides making around 20,000 children feel better. Click here to read more and view the latest hospital list.
- Pod's ultimate aim is to provide shows at all hospitals and hospices which admit children.
- Shows have to be paid for, and Pod's funds are limited. All Pod's funds are spent on entertaining children in hospital. Pod's administrative costs are funded by the Pod League of Friends, a private charity.
